WIP...PSC US Infantry & Rangers...

More work in progress. The British Staff figures are finished apart from painting the bases, I will wait and do a big batch at the same time.
You may recall from a previous post I showed you some PSC US guys with radios etc, this time I have been working on the rest of the sprue, so you will be able to see what they look like painted up. I have also been working on the LOTR Rangers some more, they have had washes applied and are awaiting the re-painting stage.

First up the GIs - these figures will be for sale once they're finished, along with the communications figures, so let me know if you are interested:

Here's the Rangers:

  2. Great stuff John. Those folds in the GIs' clothes look lovely. For sale? Good idea. I shall be interested in the details...Robin recons I should break out the Americans that offer different bits and pieces for Spearhead. Got me a heap of unpainted, well, at least two Battalions worth, so...

    Cheers,

    Nick

    1. G'day Nick. A pretty decent set from PSC to start the core of a US force - even better once they release the heavy weapons set.
There's 17 figures in all - not sure entirely what to charge.....?
What unpainted yanks do you have, Italeri, Revell ?

    2. Hi John, old Esci figures. Initially I got them for Crossfire.

  3. Nice work on the GIs. I've been waiting for the heavy weapons set before getting started and it's looking like it will be next year before I start on mine

    1. Thanks Will. Yes, I've been hoping they would release the heavy weapons set for the British in 1/72 as well as the US.

  4. Love those GIs, nice clean work. Are they the 28s or the 1/72?

  5. Nice work. Wasn't sure about them from photos of the bare plastic, but they paint up really nicely.

    1. Hi Alan,
yes, not too bad a set from PSC. I'm hoping that future figure sets will be even better in terms of crisp detail and pose selection.

  6. I agree with Alan M. The quality is clearly in the paint job. Excellent.
