PAK 38 with crew & loader team - 20mm

Today, some photos of a Plastic Soldier Company PAK 38 with crew and a loader team on a separate base - loader teams are useful to have in the Battlegroup rules system. Also visible in a couple of the photos is an AB German officer. These were done for my own slowly growing collection of German troops for Battlegroup.

    1. Cheers Paul, the PSC do some handy kits.
I still have more in the box to assemble, don't know when though.
Got to paint up a stack of 28mm Aussies for A'stan next and need
to figure out how to paint the crye camo pattern.

    1. Thanks FF, I have a few options for field grey - I have paints from Vallejo & Lifecolor that work nicely & can add some variation to the tones.

  5. C'est magnifique! You managed to 'hide' their big heads, through the painting style you followed (layering). There's no distinction among the lines, and this produces a marvellous result. Bravo, Sir!

    1. Thanks Thanos. The PSC Germans aren't my favourite sculpts, but I think this is a very useful kit for wargaming. If I was going "all out" with this set I would probably replace the crew with AB- I'll save that sort of extra effort for my British :-)
Having said that, I have several packets of AB German infantry in the stash which I hope to finish someday.

  8. Nice work, neat job on the Camo on the helmets. It's a nice looking kit, may have to add it to my to do list to supplement my PAK40s

    1. G'day Alan :-) Yes, it's a pretty decent kit with a couple of gun options, crew, and lots of ammo to sprinkle about. I don't have a PAK 40, so that is something I could do with supplementing to my force - probably get a metal one and perhaps some AB crew?

17th Century Characters...mostly

Here are some 17th Century character miniatures I finished recently.  28mm metal, mostly from Wargamer Poland: https://sklep.wargamer.pl/gb...
