A Hint of Blackadder, WWI Style.....

Baldrick: I have... a plan, sir.
Blackadder: Really, Baldrick? A cunning and subtle one?
Baldrick: Yes, sir.
Blackadder: As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University?
Baldrick: Yes, sir.

Today some figures I painted recently for a customer that are very Blackadder in style without having the official stamp of approval from the BBC. The miniatures are some quite chunky, almost cartoony offerings from Scarab Miniatures here. They were great fun to paint - Baldrick is particularly recognisable :-)

    1. Thanks Paul, the photos don't quite do them justice - they scrubbed up quite nicely for blokes that have been in the trenches :-)

  2. Mate! They are brilliant! Love the mustache on Melchet and the glasses on Baldrick. And the piping on Captain Blackadder 'iself. Great work.

  3. Very nice job on Captain Slackbladder and his crew. Also fun to see Bobbie Parker in the middle - she's saucier than a direct hit on a Heinz factory! WOOF!
Your customer is a lucky fellow.
