Farewell Sub-Romans....Hello...?

Sometimes I part with figures from my collection in order to make room for new "shiny" :-)

I sold this unit of Sub-Roman spearmen in order to raise loot for new figures. New Dark Age figures are winging their way to me from Footsore Miniatures in the UK :-)

I thought I would post some pictures of the unit of spearmen, now on their way to their new home.. They are 28mm Blacktree Designs figures- some are converted from wielding swords to spears.

Cheers,
John.

  2. I find it very difficult to part with figures that I have painted. These are very nice and I really like the shields too. Looking forward to seeing the new stuff.

    1. I find that it's the only way I can afford new stuff - unless I get some loot for birthday, Christmas etc.
Doesn't bother me too much parting with figures, I guess I kind of do that all the time when I'm doing commissions :-)

    1. Hehe, fair enough :-) But...it has allowed me to turn 8 painted & based figures into about 24 shiny new ones ;-)
Just trying to make my hobby pay for itself.

17th Century Characters...mostly

Here are some 17th Century character miniatures I finished recently.  28mm metal, mostly from Wargamer Poland: https://sklep.wargamer.pl/gb...
