The Navy Lark

Old farts like me might recognise the title as an allusion to the old BBC Radio comedy, which starred such luminaries as Ronnie Barker & Jon Pertwee: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Navy_Lark
However it's just a play on the theme, as these wee chaps are from a much earlier time of the Royal Navy's history.
The other part of the commission that included those Perry Marines, was this assortment of Napoleonic era Royal Navy characters from Brigade Games in the US. They were a delight to paint, Paul Hicks has done a cracking job with the sculpting.
