Media Crews & a Camel

Some fun miniatures I painted up in recent times - all 28mm metals, apart from the camel which is resin. The Afghan film director is a head swap. I'm not sure who made the figures, I'd have to ask my customer - or perhaps you know?
It was great painting up the more colourful modern media miniatures, they have loads of character - I particularly like the long-haired & bearded photographer.
I hope you enjoy them.

Photographer & sound-man

"Get that camel out of the shot!"

Note the "old school" film equipment.

20mm Insurgents

G'day all, recently finished some 20mm (1/72) insurgents for a customer. They were plastic figures from Orion and Caesar Miniatures - three different sets. There are a variety of figures including Chechens, Middle Eastern, and African types - 40 figures in all.

Bushrangers - "Dead Man's Hand Down Under"

I've painted some Bushrangers- 28mm "Dead Man's Hand Down Under" Range from Great Escape Games.
The hairy looking  fellow, (2nd from left in first photo), puts me in mind of the infamous "Mad Dan"or "Mad Dog" Morgan :

USMC Force Recon

I was going to post some pictures of some bushrangers next, but I just finished these and wanted to post them up. Thanks to some kind gents on The Guild I was able to get an idea of how to paint a representation of Grey Digital Camo in 28mm.
The Majority of the figures are 28mm Force Recon from Eureka Miniatures, the two medics are USMC.

State Troopers - On the trail of the bushrangers

Here are the State Troopers I mentioned in my previous post, on the trail of the bushrangers.
The aboriginal tracker lost the barrel off his gun, so I decided it must be a sawn-off shotgun.
My third post in this series will be of a motley gang of bushrangers - including someone who I think must be the infamous "Mad Dan" Morgan.

My favourite is the bloke second from the right.
