Here's something I painted for my own collection and finished a while back. I had done a couple of the figures previously but had not completed the section. Most of the figures are AB, I think there is one Elhiem in there on the far left.
I photographed these in natural light on the veranda.

Great looking commandos!
ReplyDeleteCheers Rodger!
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed! The faces in particular are superb! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephen, it does help that the AB sculpts are so nice :-)
DeleteJohn, they look outstanding! Full of character and ready for action. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteHey Bro :-)
DeleteNot sure when they will next see action, they are tucked away in a draw for now. Glad you like them.
Nice work mate. RMC!
ReplyDeleteAh yes Al, in keeping with your RMC icon :-)
DeleteThumbs up!
ReplyDeleteGood looking minis and excellent photography, as usual. Nice to see a K gun in there as well, quite unusual, but completely in keeping with the Commandos
ReplyDeleteHi Alan, how's tricks?
DeleteYes the K-Gun was very much a Commando weapon, my impression was that it allowed them to lay down a lot of fire very quickly, having a much higher rate of fire than a Bren, plus larger magazine capacity, whilst still being portable. Thanks for your encouragement :-)
