I have finished three Arab Heavy Cavalry Command figures from Footsore Miniatures - 28mm. I have their Arab Cavalry General set on my painting desk at the moment. They gave me the chance to use some bright colours again, & I'm pleased with the overall look of them. I just wish I'd remembered to take a group shot.
Banner is from LBMS.

Lovely work, and those LBMS banners set the figures off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence. Yes those LBMS banners sure do look good!

They look fantastic, excellent job and great details!
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil, glad you liked them :-)
DeleteWonderful paintjob!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stefan. The two I have on my desk should be quite colourful too :)
DeleteVery fine work. Makes me all the more impressed with Footsore figures. I like the way you've used the light blue as a theme for all of these figures, and the detailing you've done on the tunics is amazing. The banner is la piece de la resistance.
ReplyDeleteSeeing these figures is making me want to finish off a Spahi unit I was working on.
Best,
Michael
Hi Michael,
Deleteyes, I like the Footsore minis too - wouldn't mind some of their Anglo-Saxons for my own collection, once I've painted up the GB & Eureka ones in the stash :)
lad you liked the paint-job & the colour theme. The LBMS banners etc., really help to lift a figure.
All the best,
John.
