28mm Miniatures from Empress Miniatures. Painted & based by me :-)
Next- Special Forces are inbound for Whatchacallitstan...
Hi Everyone! Here are some pictures of recently completed French Old Guard from North Star Military Figures Retreat From Moscow range. Plus...
Nice looking bunch of minis :)
ReplyDeleteThanks mate! Empress Miniatures are great sculpts, so much detail & well proportioned.
DeleteNice job.....I have been thinking of some modern skirmish for a while these are great😀
ReplyDeleteCheers Matt! There's some great miniatures available for skirmish. I've found Empress, Eureka & Spectre ranges to be great to paint.
Deleteoh, fantastic minis and great brush work my friend!
ReplyDeleteReally like the Empress stuff. Great work with the brush and the basing John!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too Rodger- if they made something in 28mm that fitted with my own favoured eras I'd be reaching for my wallet. Nevertheless, it's been fun to paint them up for other folks :-)
DeleteThey are great- look like they have walked straight out of the news.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.
Cheers Pete!
DeleteA very scurvy looking bunch. I really like the mix of camo patterns and the one chap wearing running/track pants. Very very cool.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Mike
Very scurvy indeed! Thanks Mike, it was fun doing the mix of camo to contrast with the dark clothing - I think my favourite pattern is the blue one :-)
DeleteThey look great John. And just a touch dodgy...
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them Nick, yes they certainly are dodgy...
DeleteStunning work and very effective.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence :-) The photos don't quite do them justice, they look better "in the hand".
DeleteVery nice work. I like the muted tones you've gone with. I'm a big fan of the modern figures from Empress and Eureka. Spectre's bodies are excellent but I'm not a fan of their 'realistic' weapon sizes. Too wee and fragile for my tastes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt! I agree about the Spectre weapons.
Deletelovely work there Jack
ReplyDeleteCheers Al!
