Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Irish & Normans

Can't stay away from Dark Ages for long!

Today's post includes Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Irish & Normans. Most of the miniatures are 28mm metal, apart from the Irish which are Wargames Atlantic plastics.

I hope you enjoy the pictures, drop me a line in the comments if you have any questions.

  2. Such beautiful work. Great use of muted, earthy colors. They look so real! I am most envious of your abilities.

  3. Lovely paintwork, as ever. Some of the poses for those Saxons in particular are amazing, the sculptor's really caught the swinging of cloaks, chainmail and weapons! Even though I daren't start a new period, some of those would tempt me just for the joy of painting them.

    1. Thanks very much Alan. I think I know the ones you mean, sculpted by Matt Bickley I believe. He also does the sculpting for Claymore Castings, a very talented bloke.
