Byzantines & Anglo Saxons

 Sharing some more work completed in 2020.

The Byzantines are from Aventine Miniatures. The Anglo Saxons are from Footsore Miniatures.

Majority of the shields have Little Big Men Studios decals/transfers.

    1. Thanks Phil, most of the shields are done using decals, only 8 were painted freehand.

  2. Splendid work, I particularly like the Romans and I have just revisited my early Saxons so your fine choice of hues on your later Saxons will be a useful inspiration.

  3. drooling all over them...lovely work. For my taste the spears are a bit thin I prefer the slightly fatter versions with GB plastics for example but does take away from the painting !👍
