Today some "near future" Russians in 20mm from Elhiem Miniatures - their website calls them "Future Concept Russians in advanced body armour".
They remind me of a cross between Dr Who Cybermen & Star Wars Stormtroopers :-)

Very interesting troops, your right they have that cyber men look.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are a bit different. I would of thought those tiny eye holes would have made it quite difficult to see, especially periphery vision.
DeleteNicely done😀
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt!
DeleteCool looking figures!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like em Rodger!
DeleteVery nice Jack - I see what you were talking about!
ReplyDeleteCheers James :-)
DeleteHehe, yes, I wonder what the Russian is for "Delete, Delete!" ?
They look great- nice idea for a figure range- "the day after the day after tomorrow" kind of vibe.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.
Thanks Pete. I guess the military are moving closer towards something like this, I have seen pictures of Russians with "welder" style helmets, and body armour is already a thing.
DeleteThey are very cool John. Your own, or a commission?
ReplyDeleteCheers Nick!
DeleteNah, not mine, a commission.
I'm not actually into any conflicts past WW2, doesn't stop me painting them for other folks though :-)
Very nice minis and great paint work.
