"Hold Fast Lads!!!"
More of the characterful miniatures in 28mm from North Star - "Royal Navy Crew" boxed set. These were great fun to paint, and I'm sure they will give pirates a run for their money. The "AR" on the marine's mitres puts them in the time of Queen Anne. I like the spiffy outfit of Marine Lieutenant John Wittington and his wig. Huzzah!
I have a special new camera on the way that my wife has purchased for me, it looks ideal for showcasing miniatures and sharing what I'm painting & how I paint it. Who knows, I may even end up making YouTube videos, and it should be useful for Google Hangouts. The camera can be found here: https://huehd.com/pro/
I first saw it on James Wappel's blog, he was going to use it to give online painting tutorials - Mr Wappel knows his stuff.
Stay tuned....:-)
All the best,
John.
