Painted up a Norman warband recently, all 28mm metal Footsore Miniatures, sculpted by Paul Hicks.
It was a foot force, no cavalry apart from the mounted warlord. Based on 30mm round bases rather than my usual 25mm.
Tufts are from Leadbear's tufts here in Australia :-)

DeleteWhat can I say, other than they are up to your usual excellent standard (have I mentioned shields yet?)?. On a side note, back in 2006 I found myself in the town of Domfront in France, during the celebrations for their Local Hero, a certain Duke William, and his victory over their English enemy. Slightly odd day to be a young(ish) lad from Dorset in France...
