The Auld Empty Barn...

This was my entry for the Group Build over on The Guild , the theme was "Building", which could be any sort of manmade structure.
The barn is actually an OO scale paper model which has been reinforced with various sorts of card and foamcore. The original was downloaded from Scalescenes .
The cows are 1/72 plastics from Pegasus.

  4. That is very cool. Is it textured, or is that simply the printing on the paper?

    1. No, not textured, just printed on paper- any raised detail is structural rather than embossed. I guess a good paper model gives the optical illusion of texture.

    1. Thankyou kindly Mr Grant sir- it does represent the reason, in part, why I rushed through the Typhoon build. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. There's a farmhouse to build which came with it, which looks much more work than the barn was- that's why I attempted the barn first. :)
BTW, what do you think of the colourful new background to the blog?
