Norse Gaels & Normans

Today's post features Norse Gaels & Normans painted in recent times. The miniatures are all 28mm metal mostly from Footsore Miniatures, along with a mounted fellow from Khurusan Miniatures.

First up the Norse Gaels:

  1. Beautiful painting as always. I do wonder if companies run out of ideas and patience when sculpting the less common dark age forces, whilst they are ok a few of these sculpts look a bit quirky. Takes nothing from the painting though👍

    1. Thanks Matt. I prefer the Norse Gaels to the Normans, probably because I'm a fan of Bill Thornhill's style & also because I'm not keen on Normans as a faction/force :-)

  3. Good work as usual. Very nice work on the horse, you've really brought out the musculature with the chestnut colour.

  4. Beautiful work.....I still prefer the thicker spears and a couple of the sculpts are a bit rudimentary, none of which takes away from your quality paintwork 👍

    1. Thanks Matt. Yes I prefer thicker spears, these were commission projects so not my decision to make :-)
