Orcs! Those nasty servants of Morgoth or Sauron and general troublemakers. This is my first painted unit of 12 using the Oathmark plast...
Awesome results John! This is another set that I didn't get but might look at in the future.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rodger! Yes, this is my first time painting the bicycle troops set. First time I did a Dad's Army commission it didn't include this set, but had a lot more regular Home Guard figures, making it useful for early war British as well.
DeleteAmazing figures!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like 'em :-)
DeleteYou could say they're a tour de force!
ReplyDeleteHa!Sounds like a "re-cycled" joke :)
DeleteOops, sorry I "spoke", that was a wheely bad joke- you'll soon tyre of it.
Ar ar ar ar ar argh! :-)
DeleteCan a person purchase a set of these somewhere, or even individually?
ReplyDeleteMy late father was a volunteer Home Guard at age 17, hit by a fire bomb on his bike at Chatham,
Fort Bridgewoods Oct. 1940, which i just learned this year.
He spent 13 months in hospital and i thought these wonderful figurines
would make a great addition to Dad's shrine!
Cheers, Sylvia
