Volkssturm in 20mm - Completed.

These are the Volkssturm that I have been working on for Mathew from Wartime Miniatures ,(amongst other things). Some appeared in a WIP photo a couple of posts back. I have photographed them against a different background this time - suitably dark and smoky for the final levy. You will notice a real mix of uniforms and equipment, some real thought has gone into the sculpting.
I hope you like them.

All the best,

John.

  1. They look great. If a little...sobering. What's that great hulking machine gun that some are crewing? Looks like an American 30 cal, but...not.

  2. Great work- they look cracking. Think the large MG is a WW1 MG08 btw.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

    1. Hey, cheers Pete.
You are probably right about the MG, after all, they were scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel.
